Abstract nouns; things beyond our control?

In an English Class, one can say that Abstract words are those words that cannot be conceived by us physically. It represents an idea, a concept, but what I believe is that more importantly, it holds significance.
For words like LOVE. DREAMS. JUSTICE. FAITH. DESTINY. HOPE. Are beyond our control, more they hold importance to us. One puts belief and all their hearts in these words, because they mean more than that, do they? For some love is someone you're in a relationship with, however its context is varying and hence is called an abstract noun. Love is when rain caresses the ground, or when an old man smiles to his grandson, or simply the wind blowing at our faces. Similarly or likewise, is the case of others. Every person has different concepts or ideas of Dreams, and their concept of Justice, and their belief in faith and the supernatural. I believe when someone puts faith in these words, it motivates them, because indirectly we are putting all our hopes in these words. And albeit we do not have control in either of them. These things are natural and unnatural at the same time. We cannot control to whom we fall in love with, what are dreams are and how much we've accomplished, and faith and the whole concept of it, and destiny and what has store in it.
Yet it is these things that we believe in, and perhaps we all depend on it and yearn it. We all need love sometimes, our dreams, something to believe in and hope. Without the minutest (iota) of it, a person cannot live. Because in times of dire crisis and confusion we rely on them. And we Believe them. Because let's face it? We all need to believe in something in a while. And especially things that are much more powerful and vast than ourselves. Because when we put FAITH and DREAMS ahead of us and LOVE and HOPE for the goodness of the Earth we BELIEVE. We yearn for something better for us, for without them, God knows where would we end up.
